1.) Beaches & Ocean Life – This should be an obvious one. Fort Lauderdale Beach especially is known for its awesome sand and salt life. Rent jetskis, paddle boards, kayaks and more. Go parasailing, snorkeling and take a deep sea fishing expedition.

2.) State Parks & Museums – Hugh Taylor Birch State Park offers a tropical area with diverse wildlife. Located on East Sunrise Boulevard, between the intracoastal waterway and SR A1A. There’s a ton to do, including paddle board rental, great food and music. There are also awesome trails for biking, hiking, jogging, walking and inline skating. Broward County also offers many great museums, such as; Museum of Discovery & Science, NSU Art Museum of Fort Lauderdale, and Bonnet House Museum and Gardens.
